Everyone knows about the health benefits of losing weight. I was aware of this throughout the first 25
years of my life. I was a very tubby child and subject to a lot of teasing. I was advised that if I did not lose weight I would be on course for a heart attack by the time I reached 30.
I tried various diets with limited success until 1997 when I got a job in the city of London. I found it very hard to find a suit to fit me and ended up with something I hated. I was lucky, as it fit comfortably
after I had my trousers altered. A week or so after spending the best part of £1000 on new clothes I read in the newspaper about a very
high profile England footballer that had lost a lot of weight. (Without mentioning names he was known for not being particularly 'bright') I decided there and then
that if he could do it, so could I. I then lost seven stones over the next five months and I have kept it all off for the last 12 years!
Ever since losing all that weight I have felt frustrated at being able to shift by remaining 'spare tyre'. I recently decided to undergo the herbalife weight loss programme
so that all the work I do at the gym on my abs would show through. I have had some pretty amazing results already.
